According to many news stories suddenly popping up, a Northern California mailman has just been caught opening up cards sent from one person to another and searching them for money. It's sad, but this is one reason why we say, "Always give a greeting card in person only." That is the only way it cannot contain a virus (like an ecard) nor be ransacked. So what's going to happen to the thief, who probably stole over $500? After all the prosecution takes place, it could only be a 5 year sentence. The moral of the story is that you should not tamper with others' cards. Ever.
